Postpartum Cardiovascular Dysfunction in Patients with Preeclampsia
Official Title: Persistent postpartum cardiovascular dysfunction in patients with preeclampsia with severe features (ECHO)
To investigate if patients who have preeclampsia are at an increased risk of having heart problems that can be identified on an echocardiogram (an ultrasound of the heart) as well as evaluating whether levels of certain substances in the blood are associated with more abnormalities on the echocardiogram.
• Females older than 18 years of age
• Pregnant with one fetus
• Ability to speak English
