A Study to Collect a Protein Sample Found in Pregnant Women Showing Signs and Symptoms of Preterm Labor

Official Title: Prospective Sample Collection of Qualitative Fetal Fibronectin In Pregnant Women with Signs and Symptoms of Early Preterm Labor (Hologic #2)


The goal of the study is to collect fFN (fetal fibronectin) samples to further support clinical use of the test from a
vaginal fluid specimen taken during pregnancy (from 24 weeks to 35 weeks) to assess the risk of
pre-term birth.

Eligibility criteria:

1. You are 24 -35 weeks pregnant
2. You are 18 years of age or older
3. You are at risk for giving birth prematurely
