Anxiety and Inflammation in Adults

Official Title Inflammation in adults with anxiety disorders

Purpose

This study looks at how anxiety can affect your immune health. 

You will meet with a research team member for an interview about your mental health. If you qualify, we will take a few drops of blood from a finger prick. Then you will fill out some surveys about yourself and your mental health. 

 Study visits will last approximately 2 hours. Once the 2-hour visit is complete, you will be released from the study. There will be no long-term follow-up after completion of research related procedures.

Could this study be right for you?

  • Have an anxiety disorder (social anxiety disorder, specific phobia, panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder). 

  • Are 18 years or older 

  • Read and understand English 

  • Free from immune-related diseases

18 years and up
