Official Title A Parent-Mediated Telehealth Intervention for Insomnia in Young Autistic Children

Purpose

Insomnia is a common problem for young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. The purpose of this study is to compare the benefits of sleep parent training (SPT) program to a structured parent education program (SPE) for insomnia improvement in young children with autism spectrum disorder.

You may be eligible if your child: 

1. Has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder

2. Has significant Sleep Disturbance

3. Is free of a significant health problem

4. Is on stable medication

3 - 7 years
